Don has worked with Lamb & Hayward for 29 years and found himself initially in the position quite unexpectedly. No prior interest, just the opportunity for work at a time he needed it. He has over the years discovered the satisfaction of helping people is something that once begun never goes away.
He has met many special people and now enjoys one of his roles as driver for the Lamb & Hayward bus enjoyed by the elderly community. “I take these people out three days a week. We venture as far as Lake Hood (Ashburton), Geraldine, Akaroa, Arthurs Pass, Hanmer, Cheviot and many places in between for a pleasant day’s outing that often includes lunch and a chat.
