Having been in the funeral industry since 1973 Gordon is entirely familiar with assisting the bereaved. Drawn to funeral care after a previous vocation in pastoral care, Gordon still finds the most rewarding part of his job is listening to family eulogies and learning about peoples life experiences, their highs and lows all captured in just a few words, “It makes me feel as though I have known them for years”.
Despite several attempts to retire Gordon has found himself back in the role he loves and takes pride in being associated with an entirely Canterbury owned and operated company, where client care is paramount. He enjoys the unique, friendly and peacefully designed surroundings, that reflect this sincere desire to care.
