Giving families and friends the best possible lasting memories of their loved ones is the challenge Mike happily rises to. His colleagues are well attuned to one another, providing strength and support during especially challenging times such as the recent earthquake. “Despite long hours and a more challenging workload the team didn’t falter, the standard of care was retained throughout. We have a large team and everyone stepped up and made even more of an effort to strengthen one another.”
Mike is proud of the community involvement Lamb & Hayward provide with initiatives such as the Community Bus that is available for free use within the Christchurch area to rest homes and community groups to use to provide activities and outings. “The demand is such that the bus has to be booked a year ahead, it is hugely popular and shows an understanding of community needs and service.”
