Obituary

Passed unexpectedly of natural causes on July 5, 2025, at his home in Tasman, aged 52. Much loved youngest son of Olive and Bill Morrison (both deceased, Eketahuna). Loved brother of Lilian and the late Keith Hamel (Upper Hutt), Neil and Hazel (Eketahuna), Richard (Ashburton), Doug and Wendy (Masterton), Barbara and the late Grant McConaghty (Taupo), and Graeme and Michelle (Matamata). A loved uncle, great-uncle, nephew, and cousin. A loved and respected colleague and friend.

Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Alex Morrison, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Alex’s life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, July 15, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Mate its been many years but some of the best memories i have being with you was out riding horses, climbing trees,playing football while trying to teach our niece and nephews to play there was always one thing that you shone with. You never showed fear with whatever you did as you always pushed the boundaries . You were always the kindest person. My condolences to all the family as you will be missed by all.
