Obituary

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 78 years. Beloved wife of Murray, adored Mum and mother-in-law of Lisa, Anna and Hayden, Nick and Lou, and cherished Grandma of Oliver, Digby, Harriet, Monty, Herbie, and Otis. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Alma Johnson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Alma’s life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, June 5, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Due to roadworks, Wairakei Road is one-way between Breens Road and Roydvale Avenue, making access to Westpark available to west bound traffic only. Please allow extra travel time.

In fact since the day our boys met at kindergarten. Alma has always been a very dear friend and her memory will be held close to my heart.
