Obituary

On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, peacefully, at Holmwood Lifecare, surrounded by family, aged 74 years. Loved husband of Sue, loved father of Tara, Kerry, Andrew, Caroline, Edward, Scott, Philip, Tom, and their families, adored Grandpa, loved brother, brother-in-law, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Jeff Acheson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude would be appreciated, and may be made online at nursemaude.org.nz. The funeral service in celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, July 18, at 2.00pm.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of dear Jeff in New Zealand. Indeed, I had not even known that he was ill. It was an absolute pleasure to know and work with him for a few years. He was always a true gentleman, thoughtful and kind. I'm praying for Sue and the family at this time.
