John Douglas Taylor

14/6/1933 – 9/10/2025. Our ‘Kauri has fallen’, peacefully passed, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Helen, loved father and father-in-law of Sue and Lisa, Doug and Anne, Max and Jan, Chook and Sandy. Treasured grandfather of Evie, and Enya; Bree, and Jack; Morgs, Wills, Ben, and Maddie, great-grandfather of Billie. Loved brother of Judith, and the late Geoff. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the care and support that Bupa Ballarat staff gave to John in the latter part of his life. John has left a legacy of love, compassion, leadership, determination and wisdom, not only to our family but to the communities and organisations he was involved with throughout his life.
