John William Hume

On May 18, 2025, passed away peacefully at Burwood Hospital, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Yvonne, much loved father and father-in-law of Kim and Tohe, Mark and Karen, and Johnathon and Shahra. Loved Pop of Siena, Charlie, Harrison, and Troy. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Carol and Chris, and Kay and Des.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Friday, May 23, at 2.30pm. Due to road works, there is no access to Wigram Road from Halswell Junction Road – access is from Dunbars Road only.
