Katherine Olive Baird

On May 25, 2026, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Alex, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sarah, Emily and Arran, treasured Grandma Kath of Ida, Torin, and Eleanor; Daniel, and Isaac. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Hilary (deceased), and David and Sue Thorp. Special thanks to all those who supported Katherine in her latter years. The funeral service will be held in St Barnabas Anglican Church, corner of Fendalton Road and Tui Street, Fendalton, on Friday, May 29, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
