Lynette Cheryl (Shaw) McVicar

(formerly of Greymouth) On October 19, 2026, passed peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, after a short illness, with her loving husband Michael sitting by her side. Dearly loved wife of Michael, loving mother of Angela and Matthew, and Bryan and Yumiko, loved Granny Lynne of Estelle, and loved sister of Kerry and Sandy.

 Many thanks to Ward 15, Christchurch Hospital, for their exceptional care of Lynette. Thanks also to Elms Court on Middlepark for their care and attention in her last months. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, on Tuesday, October 27, at 11.00am, interment to follow at Shands Road Cemetery.
