Margaret “Marg” Alexander

On September 26, 2026, Margaret passed away peacefully at Avonlea Dementia Care Home, aged 86 years.Loved wife of Ross, dedicated mother of Julie, Leanne, Bronwyn, and Nathan. Special Gran of Laura, Sara, Aleisha, Quinn, and Jack, great-Gran of Percy and Roman, mother-in-law of Craig, and Chris, dearly loved sister of John Hewitson (Johnny). Many thanks for the love, care, and attention Margaret received from the staff at Avonlea, special thanks to Sally and Angel. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John would be appreciated.  Margaret had a lifelong affiliation with St John and in her time received numerous awards. The funeral service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at AvonPark, corner Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, on Monday, October 5, at 10.30am, private family burial thereafter.
