Michael “Mike” James Hancock

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Mike, on Friday, October 9, 2026, following an accident whilst enjoying one of his many passions, aged 79 years. Mike was the dearly loved husband, best friend, and soul mate of Gaynor, much loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Kirsten, and Gary, and stepfather and stepfather-in-law of Cory and Sandra, and Jaime. He was a proud and devoted grandfather, and a loyal friend to the many people whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by his family and wide circle of friends.
