Obituary

On Thursday, August 21, 2025, surrounded by love with her daughters by her side, aged 65 years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Gemma and Tonu, Evana and Andrew. Adored Yaya of Jeremiah, Evie, and George, loved sister and sister-in-law of Jamie and Michelle, and much loved aunty and friend to many. A funeral service to celebrate Nicola’s life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, August 29, at 10.00am, followed by burial at Lincoln Cemetery.

This photo of Nicki is exactly how we remember her - vibrant, funky clothes & looking out for her neighbours. She was first person to be truly welcoming when moving in next door, whilst respecting others privacy. I'm so gutted I didn't get to say goodbye but know that's just how you were left in peace & I respect your choice. For 20years we looked out for each other & helped out where we could - as we could - No expectations. Straight up, straight talking it was that kind of easy friendship. it was always a pleasure Nicki, shocked by how quickly your health has taken you but sending love to your girls especially, who were your world & for your spiritual adventures.
