To all Phil’s friends and family: As of Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Phil was promoted to Chief Raconteur, The Afterlife. Selected after demonstrating amazing courage and tenacity. Dearly loved husband of the late Panatta, father of Emily and fiancé David Melse, and pup Poppy, brother of Juliana and Tony Feaver, uncle of Giles, and Jarvis Feaver. Loved and respected brother-in-law and uncle of the Rodnuson family (Bangkok, Thailand).

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Ward C1, Burwood Hospital, for their care and compassion. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Gregory’s Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, on Thursday, March 5, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Avonhead Memorial Cemetery.
