Rev Dr Arthur 'Bryden' Bryden Sims Black

On May 20, 2025, at Christchurch Hospital, Bryden was called home to Our Heavenly Father, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Cathy for 47 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Anna-Marie and Michael, David and Emma, Sebastian, Miriam and Oliver, beloved grandfather of Rachel and Peter; Charlotte, Benjamin and Isabella; and Arabella. Heartfelt thanks to the church community and medical staff as well as friends, colleagues and employees who supported Bryden and the family over recent times.
