Richard Cardew Rendle

After a brief illness, Richard slipped away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, in his 81st year. Much loved soulmate of Noela. Amazing Dad and father-in-law of Phill and Bron, Fiona and Karl, and Gwyneth and Trev. Proud Grandad of Tessa; Lucy, and Tristan; and Anne, Esther, and Katy. The family would like to thank the staff at Christchurch Hospital ICU for the care shown to Richard and the family. He will leave a big hole in the St Tim’s, St James’, Bishopdale Menzshed, and the science education communities.
