Robert “Bob” Sutherland

Passed away at Christchurch Hospital on Friday, October 10, 2025, aged 74 years. Much loved husband of Maxine, dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Andrew and Bridie, Alicia and Nick, and Kerri and Ray, Granddad Bob of Charlie and Lucas, Mikayla and Ella, and James and Kayla, and Great-Granddad Bob of Hazelle, and Jameson, much loved brother and brother-in-law of Leigh and Merv, and Ian and Bev, and a loved uncle and friend to many. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at North New Brighton Community Centre, 93 Marine Parade, North New Brighton, on Thursday, October 16, at 1.30pm.
