Robert “Neville” Hinman

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Neville passed away peacefully at Charles Upham Retirement Village, Rangiora, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Shirley Ann Hinman. Much loved father and father-in-law of John and Sally, Simon and Robbie, Janet, and Matthew and Jo-Ann. Loved grandfather of Ella, Nicola, Jeremy and Ollie, Benjamin and Sophie, Larissa and Mitch, Lauren and Ben, Bradley and Amelia, and Gabrielle, and a treasured great-grandfather to Oakley, Eddie, Griffin, Rooney, and Colter in the US. Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Kevin and Trish, Val, Roger and Jenny, Malcolm and Alison, the late Pauline and their children/partners and their wider families. Neville will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Charles Upham Retirement Village for their exemplary care.
