Obituary

On August 30, 2026, passed away peacefully at Charles Upham Retirement Village, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of Bill, much loved mother of Derek and his partner Debbie, adored Nanny of Amy. Loved sister of Lenny, Derek, Ray and their families all in the UK.

A service to celebrate Rose’s life will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora on Monday, September 7, at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

Dear Bill and family, I send my heartfelt condolences across the sea from America. What a special soul Rose was. I will never forget her bringing hand made shearling slippers for my son when she and Bill came to the USA to visit with my beloved parents, Natalie and James. She was so thoughtful and kind. Rose also taught me how to make crepes in my mothers kitchen. We had such fun. There are some people who cross your path in this life and they leave a very warm impression. Rose really was a gem. She is home with God now and whole again. I can see her smiling along side my parents. I am keeping you all in my prayers. Rest in eternal Peace beautiful lady.
