Ross Lester Johnston

Peacefully passed away on June 24, 2025, at Merivale Village Lifecare Home, after a short illness. Son of the late John Raymond Johnston, and the late Esma Eva May Johnston. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Noel (deceased) and Carolyn, Gary (deceased) and Paula, Lorraine and Gary (Masterton), and Peter and Julie, also a loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews and their families. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society in memory of Ross would be appreciated, and may be made online at cancer.org.net. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Merivale Village Lifecare Home, St John Ambulance, and Christchurch Public Hospital. A celebration of Ross’ life will be held at AvonPark, 2 Kerrs Road, Linwood, on Tuesday, July 1, at 10.30am, followed by a burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
