Beloved wife of Herb, and sister of Judith and the late Allan. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Christopher (deceased), Melanie and David, Jeremy, Louise and Steve, Juliet and Glen. Treasured, much loved and groovy Grandma of Jesse and Felix, Gabriel, Hamish and Alice, Greta and Sacha, Grace and Patrick. Fabulous aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Shirley died peacefully in Christchurch, on July 5, 2025. A private service has been held, and there will be a remembrance service held in Hamilton on a date to be advised.
