Stan Simpson OBE

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, passed away peacefully in Christchurch, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Shirley for 66 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Jacqueline and David, Richard and Heather, and Philip and Jill. Loved Grandad of James and Sophie, Emma and Rebecca, Oliver (deceased), Harry, Matthew, and Zara. Loved brother of Heather, and the late Max, Lindsay, and Michael. The funeral service for Stan will be held in St. Christophers Anglican Church, 244 Avonhead Road, Avonhead, on Friday, September 19, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Karamea Cemetery.
