On September 30, 2025, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Merelyn, loving father and father-in-law of Glen and Claire, Melissa and Graeme, devoted Popeye of Phoebe, loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian and Lyndsay (deceased), Noeleen (deceased) and Ron (deceased) and Pauline, and uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
