On December 2, 2024, peacefully passed away, aged 92 years, widower of June (60 years), dearly loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Gaye(deceased)  (Wellington), Chris and Anne (Manapouri), and Tony and Jo, much loved grandpa of Ben and Brooke, James and Jess; Ryan; Sophie; Jono and Hannah; much loved great-grandpa of Ashleigh, and Harper; Asa, and River. Special thanks to all the staff at Arvida Ilam for all the wonderful care given to Ian in his later years.
