On July 16, 2024, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, with family by her side, aged 90 years. Devoted wife of the late Keiran, cherished Mum of Maree, Debbie, Kerry, Lynne, Shaun, Lisa, Casey, and the late Peter, dearly loved mother-in-law, Nana, Great-Nan. Josie was the loved sister of Maureen, and the late Arnold, Maurice, and Graham. Special thanks to Vicky for the love and support shown to Josie. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made online at cancer.org.nz. In accordance with Josie’s wishes, private cremation will be held. A memorial service for Josie will be held at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, on Friday, July 19, at 1.30pm. The recitation of the Rosary will be held at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral on Thursday, July 18, at 6.00pm.
