On December 15, 2022, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joan, much loved father and father-in-law of Trish and Gordon Spite (Lincoln), David and Joanne Coull (Canada), Angie and Andrew Hendry (West Melton), treasured granddad of Davey and Vanessa Spite, Ben Coull, and Bridget Hendry. Special great-granddad of William, and Thomas Spite. A loved brother and brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle. The family would like to thank Stephanie for her loving care and attention of our dear Dad. The family are exceptionally grateful to the wonderful staff at Park Lane Retirement Village for everything they have done for Dad over the past seven years. Special thanks also to the doctors and nurses of Ward A8 at Christchurch Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
