Kind and loving husband of Suzanne, and the late Anna, father and father-in-law of James and Helen, and the late Tim, stepfather and stepfather-in-law of Serena and Neil, and Chantal and Jon, grandfather of Amy, Olivia, William, Edward, Rose, and Alice, step grandfather of Zacchaeas, Elizabeth, Jack, and Nico, and great-grandfather of James, Nicolas, Ila, and Maisie.

The family would like to recognise the excellent care Nigel received from Diana Isaac Special Care Unit, Christchurch Hospital, and BG Ward at Burwood Hospital.
