On December 1, 2022, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Basil, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Roz and Bryan Purser (Ohope), Ian and the late Suzanne Garrod (Timaru), proud and loved Granny of Bianca Purser, Kaleb and Taylor Purser, and loved Great-Granny of Reghan, and Billie. Rita will be sadly missed by her many honorary children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all those who have provided care and support to Rita and her family.
