On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 80 years. Dearly loved mother of Falepaini, Peioneti, Tevita, Matakaiongo, Sione, Mele, Filihia (deceased), Paeahelotu, and Tevita, and cherished grandmother of 26 grandchildren.

Akosita is generous and loving, and was always the happiest in the room. She treated everyone as if they were her own family. She has always been known to be the life of the party. She will forever be our Dancing Queen
