(RNZN No. 5493) On April 28, 2023, passed away peacefully at St Albans Retirement Village, Christchurch, in his 99^th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Betty for 68 years, much loved and loving father and father-in-law of Gaye and John Philpott, Dale and Charlie Brown, Sally Watson and Robin Smith, Reid and Virginia Watson. Loved grandad of James and Logan, Anna and Jonny, Kate and Josh; Louis, and Aimee; Oliver; Joshua and Emily, and Bridey.
