On May 9, 2024, Athol passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Bess for 55 years, treasured father and father-in-law of Philip and Becky and Justin and Nicky, much loved Grandad of Keziah, Corbin, Bronson; Keira, and Chris. Loved brother of Carol, Rosie, and Robin, and much loved by all of his extended family and whanau. Messages may be sent to PO Box 76, Dunsandal, 7682. A service to celebrate Athol’s life will be held in the Dunsandel Community Centre,1456 Tramway Road, Dunsandel, on Thursday, May 16, at 1.00pm, private burial to follow.
