On April 4, 2024, in Christchurch Hospital, with Bernadette at his side, aged 74 years. Love husband and soulmate of Bernadette, loved and adored father of Lacey and Jonathan. Loved brother-in-law of Rose and Lester, Marilyn, and the late Michael, and adored son of the late Jack  and Kath Beattie. He was a respected work colleague and great friend to many people.
