On August 12, 2023, passed away peacefully at Lady Wigram Retirement Village, surrounded by his loving family, aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of the late  Audrey, dearly loved dad and father-in-law of Denise, Barry and Alice, Wayne and Janet, Terrence and Helen, Kim and Peter, Phillip and Trina, Darrin and Tracey,  Christine, and Linda, much loved grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. A Service to Celebrate Des’ life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Monday, August 21 at 2.30pm. Private cremation thereafter.
