On November 20, 2023, at Elms Court Lifecare, actively enjoying life to the end, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Edna for 66 years, much loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Diane and Michael Rose (Nelson), Lynette and Patrick Murphy (Auckland), Jenny and the late John O’Sullivan, Gary and Vicki, adored Pop of Philippa, Peter, Jenny, and Jessica; Samuel, Hannah, and Leah; Darius, and Sam; and their partners, loved Great-Pop to his 13 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate and honour John’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, November 28, at 2.00pm, private cremation thereafter.
