On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Grant passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family. A much loved and adored husband to Stephanie, father to Alesha and Liam, father-in-law to Joe, Grandpa to Kadie, Te Koha, Piper and Stevie, brother to Pauline, brother-in-law to Russell, Michael, Wayne, Chris, Woody, Dawn and Brett. Adored uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was known as a man of personality, his sense of humour and his amazing feasts, it was always a good night. Grant’s family wish to acknowledge the staff in ICU for their support and tireless efforts to help him.
