On November 28, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John, much loved daughter of the late George and Helen Henderson (of Courtenay), cherished twin sister and sister-in-law of Zoe (deceased) and Laurie, Gilbert (deceased) and Sue, and the late Duncan and Nola. Precious and loved aunty of Kim and Mark, Darryl and Marilyn, Donna and Rick, Errol and Raewyn, Rachel and Barnaby, and Robert, treasured great-aunty of Josh, Jethro, Ruben, Garth, Tyler, Laura, Lucy, and Daniel. Special thanks to the Christchurch Hospital staff who took wonderful care of Helen in her last days. The Funeral Service for Helen will be held in St Peter’s Anglican Church, 22 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Tuesday, December 5, at 11.00am, private cremation thereafter.
