On August 21, 2023, unexpectedly and peacefully, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Ann for 66 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Linda and Bill, Nicola and David, David and Nadine, and Ross, proud and loving Granpa of Jonny, Eva and Kurt, Nina; Sam, Susannah; Liam and Kaylah, Cameron and Sam; and Great-Granpa of Hudson, Ella, Sofia, and Felix. Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Ward 24, Christchurch Hospital.
