Formerly of Allandale and Governors Bay – Passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 96 years. Loved son of the late Robert and Hilda Allan, loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Peggy and Clayton, the late Keith (“Butt”) and Mary, the late Douglas and Colleen, the late Eric and Zoe, the late Kenneth, Ross (deceased) and Margaret, the late Daphne and Dell, the late Phyllis and Charles, Eleanor and the late David, and the late Norman. A loved uncle and great-uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A big thank you to both Kauri Lodge and Christchurch Hospital for their care of John over this time.
