John passed away suddenly in the early hours of 1 January 2024 after seeing the New Year in with friends in Mapua. Deeply loved husband of Sharon, loved Father of Hamish, Alistair, Felicity and Julia. Adored big brother of Anne. Much loved Grandad of Jesse, Esta, Eddie, Matthew, Connor and Cam. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 10.30am on Thursday 11 January at Wai-Mana Chapel, Lamb and Haywood, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora. John loved the colour yellow, so we ask everyone to wear a small token in this colour. To view the livestream please, click here.
