MURDOCH, John Douglas: Suddenly, on July 17, 2023, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 90 years. Much loved husband of the late Enid for 64 years, loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Susan and Grant, Sally and Rob, Heather and Tim. Devoted Grandad of Matthew, Hamish, and Maryanne; Josh, Meg, and Ari; Helena, and Ted, and great-grandfather of Zoe, Reuben, and Oscar. Loved son of the late Irene and Walter Murdoch, and brother of the late Janice, loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. A private cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate John’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, August 12, at 2.00pm.
