On June 11, 2025, passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Jill, much loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Karen, Anna and Andrew, Mark and Annabelle, and Rachel and Ken.  Adored Grandad of Biddy, and Malindi; George and Steph, Will, Gabrielle and Sam, Alexandra and Dave, Annabelle, and Phoebe; Clara, and Martha; Annabel and Nathan, Jono and Izabelle, and Matt.  Loved great-grandad of Emilia.  Loved brother of Carol.  Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Wilson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be made online at nursemaude.org.nz.   A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at All Souls Anglican Church, 30 Church Lane, Merivale, on Wednesday, June 18, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
