On Saturday, December 6, 2025, aged 88 years. Dearly loved and loving husband and forever soulmate of Pat (Patricia Joan, née Robertson) for 67 years.  John passed with his loving wife and children beside him. Very much loved and loving Dad and father-in-law of Michael and Heather (Dunedin), Mark (Christchurch), Michelle and Tony (Christchurch).  We are so very proud of you Dad, a true inspiration always and forever. Loved and loving Grandad to Dominic (Dominator) and Clinton (Christchurch), Sacha (Japan), Geoffrey and partner Holly (Dunedin), and Anton (Wellington), Dad to his loved “catmate” Kuching.  Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who looked after John in his last few months.  Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Wingfield, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545.
