So many times remembered from the past, we lived in Doreen Street Aranui and you in Breezes Road, our Mum & Dad (Stan and Eileen Hooper) were good friends of June's parents, our Mum and Zita were both ladies of the era (one of a kind). Fun times remembered of when we were at our bach at Birdlings Flat too, and of the talking parrot you had at home and how it greeted everyone from the priest and any visitors - hilarious never to be forgotten. June was the epitome of the great upbringing that our parents bestowed on us - true, honest, loved and respectful. Our thoughts are with you all. Kindest regards from Gaylene Bailey and Kathleen Mikkelsen (nee Hooper.) and the late Wayne.

I always called you aunty June but we are cousins. I am glad that you got to come over to the US and visit me one evening on your way back east. Thank you for the use of your sewing machine everytime I visited Christchurch. Thank you for your kindness towards Ida and coming to her last photo shoot for her 98th birthday. Rest in Peace June.
