On August, 21, 2024, peacefully, aged 89 years. Scottish born, lived in Ballater, Scotland, and Christchurch. Much loved wife of the late Robert (Bob), mother of Norman (deceased), and Iain, grandmother to Paul, and Glen, sister to William (Billy) Grigor in New Zealand, and remaining siblings in Scotland. Much loved friend to many in Scotland, and New Zealand. A provider of many cups of tea, and baked treats, a very keen gardener with incredible endurance, determination, and strength throughout her entire life. A lovely happy, positive person who enjoyed a lot of fun with family and friends. Mary also enjoyed walking many of the tracks and pathways all over Canterbury, with her good friends in the walking group. Thank you to all of the hospital staff, and the staff at Rose Court, and St John Ambulance, for all their kindness and care shown to Mary.
