I am so very sad to hear of Mike's sudden passing. Sending my love and deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

On behalf of the Harrington Family our deepest sympathy to Mike[Wedge] Family. Mike was employed by us at Harringtons Brewery for many years he was a very respected employee and a diligent worker. A wonderful asset around our brewery with his Brewing knowledge with those broad shoulders, arriving and leaving each day in his jandals and Shorts in rain, hail and shine. John [deceased] had a great respect for Mike and enjoyed his company quite regularly over a Harringtons after work and always listening to the great stories of Brook who he loved dearly and was so proud of. A much loved man taken far too soon. RIP Wedge Val Harrington and Harrington Family.

My thoughts and condolences to all of Wedge's family, but especially Brooke, the apple of his eye and love of his life. A kind and beautiful man and dedicated worker. I will always remember with love and plenty of laughter the camping trip to Spencer Park, particularly the nudie run. You will be missed always.

My sincere condolences to Mike's family and friends. Mike was my oldest cousin and, although we didn't spend a lot of time together as we lived in different cities (and often countries), I have fond childhood memories of hot summers roaming through the Jim and Dianne's orchard with Mike and his brothers. It was always good to see Mike through the years and it's very sad that won't happen again; he's gone way too soon. Sending love and strength to you all, Angela

I attended CBHS from 1984 to 1988 and was classmates and a good friend of Mike’s. I remember his front row skills on the rugby field and his sense of humour, we often listened to our favourite aussie comedians on a rainy day in the school common rooms. A great kiwi bloke who enjoyed his rugby and a beer, gone far too young. My sincere condolences to his brothers and the rest of the family. RIP Mike.
