Nick, we met in the berry fields at 16, you made me laugh all summer with terrible jokes, but you made the hard work easier. I ran into you a few more times overt the following years, but when I started at 2 D, it was a shock to run into you again. A good shock, your sense of humor still blue, still terrible jokes, but still with a wicked smile. I really liked working with you. Because of you we have Diaz our greyhound, we had a grey in the UK, missed ours and you introduced me to Lucy and then sent me LOTS of GAP info, thank you. I hope you are enjoying a beer, telling stories and smiling. You are missed.

Damn. Nick was a nice, smart, talented guy. I worked with him at Microsoft where he always had some insight that made me rethink (some would say "correct") what I was trying to do (he was usually right too). Always helpful, respectful and knowlegable and a big loss to the IT community. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.

You had a heart of gold, Nick - so large, honest and continually committed to the right cause. Always loved your true-to-spirit nature... it didn't matter if it was family, work, travel or principles (or rescue pups) - such a great soul gone far too soon. I'll miss our chats bud.
