On November 27, 2022, passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 63 years – just shy of his 64^th birthday. Special friend of Gerald. Son of the late Eldon and Ann Hamilton.  Brother of Craig and Jenny, Phillip and Robyn, Jo-Ann and Matthew.  Special Uncle of Lance and Nadine (Perth), Lauren and Benjamin (USA), Bradley and Amelia, Gabrielle, James, Anna and Mark, and Scott.  Dearly loved great-uncle of Liam, the apple of Paul’s eye.  Loved by all his aunties, uncles and cousins, especially his aunty Shirley. Paul was exceptionally brave and fought a courageous battle.  He was determined to live and had a great sense of humour.  Now he is at rest and free from pain.
