21-5-1939 to 4-05-2023, aged 83 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Andrew and Amanda, the late Jason, Robin and Jane, and Carmen and Owen. Much loved Pop of Joshua, Ethan, and Alanagh; Grandad of Thomas, and Jessica; Portia, and Saraya. Adored Poppa of Luca, Scarlett, Lillie, and Emily. A loved Phil and Poppa of Samuel, and Makayla; David, Alex, James, and Jack. A much loved brother of Dugald (Fiji), Barbara (Australia), Elizabeth (USA) and the late Robert and Malcolm. A much loved and respected uncle to his nieces and nephews. Robin and Andrew would like to give a special thanks to their sister for her loving care of Dad. A special thanks to St John staff for their many visits, and the nursing staff at Christchurch Hospital. A Service to Celebrate Philip’s life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner of Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Tuesday, May 9, at 10.00am. A private burial to follow.
