On Saturday, January 17, 2026, at peace, with family by his side, aged 82 years. Much loved husband of the late Patricia, cherished father and father-in-law of Suzanne and David, Andrew, Sonia, Justine and Brent, Hamish and Jody. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of the late Geoffrey and the late Sue, Trevor (deceased) and Linda; Jan (deceased) and Dennis. Much loved grandfather of James and Mandy; Lucy; Shaun; Troy and Rory; Jorja and Evan. Much loved great-grandfather of May and Judd. Treasured uncle of Crystal and Kelly, and Michelle and Mark. Special thanks to the staff at The Village Palms Retirement Village, who cared for Ralph during his time there. Also, to the staff at Christchurch Hospital who cared for Ralph in his final days, in particular nurse Kathryn on Ward B5.
