Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Burlington Care Centre, with family by his side, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Jan for 62 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Tania, Guy and Josie, Tim and Emma, Richard and Rachael, cherished ‘Brucie’ of Piwai, Tess; Lucy, Sophia, Georgina; Billy, Stan, and Hugh. Bruce was a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. Special thanks to Dr Richard Newman and staff at Riccarton Medical Centre, Andrew Butler and nurses at the Haematology Department (Christchurch Hospital), and the staff of the Burlington Care Centre.
